Works Smarter

Cooling packages using traditional fans are designed to provide maximum airflow at all times. This means that, regardless of the ambient temperature or how hard your engine is working, the cooling fan is drawing maximum power.

With a Flexxaire system, the fan power will drop if either the temperature or the engine load drops, resulting in increased machine output or reduced fuel consumption.

 

Cleans Radiators

Flexxaire's TAC systems easily allow TACfans to change direction to purge debris from the radiator, eliminating machine downtime for radiator cleaning and increasing productivity. The smart systems can be programmed to purge at automatic intervals or purging can be done manually with the touch of a button.

 

Saves Money

Flexxaire's control systems monitor the temperature of the fluids being cooled by the fan. When maximum cooling is required, Flexxaire systems will provide it. But if the ambient temperature drops, so will the Flexxaire fan power draw. This results in substantial fuel savings.

The midsize wheel loader Caterpillar 950K has been added to Flexxaire's growing list of reversible fan applications.

The timer-controlled Flexxaire TAC2000H hydraulically actuated fan is now available for the Caterpillar 950K.

Flexxaire fans automatically reverse the cooling airflow to purge debris from radiators and other heat exchangers, resulting in reduced engine overheating, operating downtime and repair and maintenance costs. Moreover, Flexxaire fans monitor the coolant's temperature and reduce the airflow if not necessary. This can lead to lower fuel consumption and noise levels as well as an increase in the machine's efficiency.

Excavator

The hydraulic excavator Caterpillar 316E has been added to Flexxaire's growing list of reversible fan applications.

The Flexxaire TAC1000H hydraulically actuated fan, complete with adapter, controller and coolant temperature sensor, is now available for the Caterpillar 316E.
