It’s been months in the making with many challenges along the way but it’s all proved to be more than worthwhile. That’s the unanimous verdict after our fully restored and re-equipped John Deere 6800 proved to be the star of the show on the Lynx stand at LAMMA.
The tractor was a real crowd pleaser drawing in a steady stream of admirers on both days of the event. The general consensus among visitors to the stand including farmers, dealers, tractor enthusiasts and other exhibitors alike, was “congratulations on a brilliant job”. Richly deserved recognition of the hard work, countless hours and sheer dedication of the Lynx restoration project team of Greg Allen, Sam Ewbank and Mark Purves.
The tractor was fitted with a brand-new, next generation Stoll ProfiLine front loader. Finished in the original Stoll colours from the early 1990s, it makes for a stunning loader tractor combination.
We also fitted a Zuidberg override protector carried by a brand-new front linkage. A new Zuidberg front PTO was also added along with a Flexxaire reversing cooling/cleaning fan and a Dromone pickup hitch, fully overhauled by the team at the Dromone factory in Ireland to ensure authenticity.
