All set for Cereals 2022

All set for Cereals 2022

It seems like only yesterday that we were welcoming farmers and dealers on to our stand at LAMMA and now we are finalising preparations for our participation at the Cereals Event which is already just around the corner. As a result we’ve been even busier than usual! But, needless to say, we are ready and raring to go and looking forward to seeing you Stand No. 938 on either Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th June in Cambridgeshire.

So, what can you expect to see on the Lynx stand this year? Well, as always, we’ll be featuring displays of some of the key products from across the extensive Lynx range including front linkages, PTOs, weight blocks, pick-up hitches and, of course, front loaders.

Fresh from its UK public debut at LAMMA, one of the star attractions on the stand will be the next generation Stoll ProfiLine front loader. The sleek, clean design lines of the new ProfiLine drew plenty of admirers at LAMMA, but although blessed with stunning good looks including a range of colour choices, this is a loader that certainly does not flatter to deceive. Behind the smart exterior, it boasts a host of new features that further improve the loader’s capacity, all-round performance, operating safety and serviceability.

Designed for tractors between 50 and 300hp+, the new ProfiLine range incorporates the technology platform on which a number of new, innovative functions will be made available in the near future. These include the options of Work Area Restrictions, a system of sensors which, for example, can automatically restrict loader height when working in barns with low overhead space, and Payload Weighting. This feature will enable operators to weigh the load on the job, ensuring material loading accuracy in real time for bucket work or when handling bales, silage, big bags and pallets.

These new systems, together with Electronic Self-Levelling, will sit alongside established Profiline features such as the Drive-In System, Return to Dig, Comfort Drive, Hydro-Fix, Anti-Lowering Guard, rapid implement attachment using Euro-frame or Combi Headstocks and Stoll’s unique Re-scooping function with industry-leading tilt angles that ensure the bucket is always full with no trickle losses.

More power. More height. More visibility.

The new Profiline comes equipped with an even stronger double-acting lifting cylinder, which translates into more lifting power. In addition, Stoll’s renowned Z-Kinematics technology has been further developed. Z-Kinematics frees the operator’s view of the implement by concealing the mechanical parallel guide rods within the lifting arm booms. It also allows the front loader to be mounted closer to the driver’s cab. This means that attachment components are in the best position possible to reduce the load on the tractor. Stoll’s engineers have lengthened the lower lift arm to provide increased lifting height, while the cross bar has been optimally positioned for maximum operating visibility.

As with the ProfiLine’s predecessors, rugged construction, durability and ease of operation and maintenance feature strongly across the new model range. For example, Stoll have eliminated the need to regularly replace hose lines by using wear-free steel hydraulic pipes instead of rubber. Hydraulic lines are fully protected but can be freely accessed under the beam and, thanks to Stoll’s Hydro-Fix system, hydraulic lines can be quickly connected and disconnected – with one hand. Furthermore, all new generation Profiline Loaders are fitted with oversized large pin diameter and bushing, with lubrication point that can be easily accessed from outside.

More new products from Lynx

Also new on the Lynx stand will be a new range of weight units, including options with integrated toolboxes. We’ll be exhibiting new products from Dromone including the automatic Fendt ball hitch, which provides a fully automatic ball hitch operation without leaving the tractor seat, plus a new telehandler rear pick up hitch with increased vertical lift capacity to 3.0t from 2.5t. And completing our loader line-up, will be the new Stoll Solid 40-22MS front loader. This extends the Solid range with more lift height to 4.0m and a lift capacity of 1530kg at full height and is specifically designed for lighter tractors needing to lift more.

All Loaded up and on her way home. We had a great time at the Ripon Farm Services Show with many reminiscing stories and plenty of compliments about our 6800 and attachments. It makes all of those long hours from the team restoring her worthwhile.

We had a great time at the Ripon Farm Services Show, with many reminiscing stories and plenty of compliments about our 6800 and attachments. The main question is, where to go next for the 6800?
