This year’s LAMMA Show, the second to be held at the event’s new home at the NEC, Birmingham, was a resounding success with visitor numbers on the Lynx stand surpassing even those recorded last year. “It’s been a very busy two days,” said managing director, Nick Ewbank. “We’ve had lots of interest and good quality enquiries across the product range. It’s also been a great opportunity to meet up with our partners, from both our dealer network and manufacturer suppliers.”
On show this year were some of the latest innovations from German front loader manufacturers, Stoll, as well as displays of front linkages and PTOs, override protection and rubber track systems from Netherlands-based company, Zuidberg.
Making their first public appearance in the UK were three new products from Dromone, market leaders in pick-up hitches and coupling systems. These included the Irish manufacturer’s newest HAL (Hitched & Locked) pick-up hitch system and two new designs of the company’s popular Ball Hitch system; one for open field applications and the other for the Fendt range of tractors. These latest designs underline, once again, Dromone’s continued commitment to farm safety and productivity.
Examples from the Lynx range of tractor front-mounted weight packages including the latest magnetite and composite units also attracted plenty of attention.
