New drawbar design for open field applications

New drawbar design for open field applications

A number of new products developed by pick-up hitch and coupling systems specialists, Dromone Engineering, were revealed for the first time by UK importer Lynx Engineering on their stand at this year’s LAMMA show. Among the latest innovations from the Ireland-based manufacturer is the D80 Drawball System which combines the functionality of a drawbar with all the benefits of a ball hitch.

The D80 Drawball System is designed with open field applications such as baling, spraying and tillage very much in mind.

The system allows for a greater turning angle, significantly improving manouevrability and potentially saving valuable time. The D80 can also save money. There is less wear on the system which can reduce overall operating costs.

Machinery operators will also appreciate a much-improved in-cab experience. Use of the D80 system reduces the working angle of the PTO shaft, decreasing overall in-cab vibrations. The Drawball also eliminates the shunting and rattling noises associated with conventional systems, for a quieter and more relaxed towing experience.

The D80 Drawball is fully interchangeable with the tow hook and drawbar if and when required.
